Services Provided

Family Dentistry

At Dr. Stacey’s office, we love children…..of all ages! We welcome you as a patient and are interested in you, your overall well-being and in particular your dental health. The American Dental Association recommends the first trip to the dentist should be between 6 months and one year of age. For our young patients, dentistry may include preventative exams and cleanings and the application of sealants and fluoride for preventative measures. For our teenagers and young adults, wisdom teeth extraction may be a part of treatment. For everyone, we offer services that include (but not limited to) same-day crowns, cosmetic, restorative, endodontics, implants, periodontal and oral surgery.

Preventative Care

Brushing twice daily for a minimum of 2 minutes coupled with flossing will support all of Dr. Stacey and his team’s hard work. In addition to your daily maintenance we recommend having your teeth professionally cleaned by our experienced hygienists at least twice annually. We also provide oral hygiene instruction and may recommend oral rinses or other supplemental aides. During your exam we will perform an oral cancer screening.

CEREC Technology (same day crowns)

We are pleased to offer our patients CEREC restoration services – a superior method of creating precisely-designed, computer generated, color matched and highly durable ceramic restorations right in our office in a single appointment. From full crowns to veneers, CEREC delivers the best results in a single visit, with no temporaries, no uncomfortable impression trays and beautiful esthetics using state-of-the-art CAD-CAM software.

Cone-Beam Computed Technology (CBCT)

CBCT is a radiographic imaging method that allows accurate, three-dimensional (3D) imaging of hard tissue structures. This specialized type of x-ray provides more information than conventional dental x-rays.

Dr. Stacey provides this technology to aid in treatment planning of implant placement, root canal procedures, extractions and more.

Cosmetic Dentistry

We all strive to look and feel our best every day. Dr. Stacey and his team want to be sure that your smile is no exception. Whether it is a crooked tooth, an annoying dark spot or you just can’t get your smile as white as you want, we are here to customize your dental treatment. In some cases, you may not like the shape and appearance of your teeth, crowns and veneers may be the answer you seek. Other patients are interested in replacing their old “silver” fillings with composite or tooth-colored fillings for an up-dated smile. We offer custom, as well as over-the-counter whitening and bleaching products that help achieve the bright and youthful smile you are looking for.

SureSmile Aligners

SureSmile Aligners are a series of transparent, removable and virtually invisible clear aligners designed to progressively straighten your teeth into their ideal position. Dr. Stacey provides this service to help correct crowded, crooked teeth and to obtain a great, confident smile.

Restorative Dentistry

This is what most people think of when going to the dentist. Dr. Stacey can fix, or restore, your teeth to optimal health. Using advanced technology, years of experience and on-going education, we can restore diseased, injured and abnormal teeth, including but not limited to filling cavities, root canals and crowns. For the more complex cases, Dr. Stacey’s advanced dental training allows us to offer full-mouth reconstruction when necessary.

Implants

One of the most exciting advancements in dentistry has been the dental implant, a man made root. It’s a natural looking, usually permanent, secure way of restoring or replacing missing teeth that has allowed millions of people who have been unable to chew for years to regain the chewing ability of their youth. In most cases, implants are titanium anchor posts that are surgically placed in the jawbone and capped with a full crown, bridge or support for a denture. Dr. Stacey is able to offer his highly trained expertise in both phases of implant dentistry; the surgical and restorative phases.

Periodontics

Periodontics is the branch of dentistry that focuses on maintaining the health and integrity of the gums and bone. Often we only think of our teeth, but if our gums and bone are not healthy, our teeth are compromised. Diseased gums can become inflamed, resulting in bleeding and/or pain, which is a condition known as gingivitis. Left untreated, gingivitis can progress to advanced periodontal disease, resulting in potential bone and tooth loss and in some cases, heart disease. Our experienced hygienists are available to perform routine periodontal maintenance, as well as advanced scaling and root planing when necessary to keep your mouth as healthy as possible.

Endodontics

No one likes a tooth ache! When the pain is constant and causing avoidance habits, the tooth may require a root canal. Most endodontic treatment is performed here in our office and we place a restoration at the time of the root canal therapy to prepare the tooth for a future crown.

TMJ Therapy

A bad bite is typically caused by genetics. For example, the teeth may not fit in the jaws properly, or the teeth may not be in correct relationship with the rest of the face. Destructive habits, such as lip or nail biting or clenching and grinding teeth can also cause bad bites. When teeth are out alignment, the facial muscles may spasm, creating misalignment of the jaw. This can lead to temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, also called TMDs. Symptoms can include headaches, neck pain, back pain and earaches. In most cases, Dr. Stacey can help you regain proper alignment and a pain-free night’s sleep by creating a custom-fit splint.

Relaxation Dentistry

We understand that going to the dentist may be a scary and stressful experience for some patients. This doesn’t have to be the case and we will work with you to make it the best experience possible. We encourage you to express your worries and concerns and we will do everything possible to relieve your anxiety.  We may  utilize prescription drug therapy before and during your procedure to help you relax. Nitrous oxide (a.k.a. “laughing gas”) is another option that may be right for your treatment.

Technology

We strive to provide our patients with the highest level of care which includes providing the most up-to-date technology. State-of-the-art technology helps ensure patient safety and improves the speed, accuracy, and effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment. This is evidenced in our use of our CBCT, Diode Laser, Digital x-rays, Intra Oral/Digital Camera Diagnosis, CEREC (same-day crowns), Diagnodent (cavity detector), and fully integrated computers in all of our operatories. All of these services are offered with the patient’s health, safety, and time as our primary concern.
